Position Overview
Designing visually appealing and user-friendly websites that enhance user experience and meet client expectations. Your expertise in design tools and understanding of web technologies will be essential in delivering high-quality web solutions.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging and aesthetically pleasing website designs that align with client branding and business goals.
- Utilize design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Sketch, Figma, or InVision to produce high-quality visual assets.
- Develop wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts and user experiences.
- Apply strong knowledge of UX principles to ensure intuitive navigation and a seamless user experience across all devices.
- Implement basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to enhance website functionality and design.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure the successful implementation of designs and troubleshoot any design-related issues.
- Manage and design content using CMS platforms like WordPress or Joomla, ensuring that websites are easy to update and maintain.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in web design to continually improve design quality and user engagement.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, or a related field is preferred. Relevant diplomas or certifications will also be considered.
- Proficiency with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Sketch, Figma, or InVision.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to facilitate collaboration with development teams.
- Strong knowledge of UX principles, including wireframing, user flows, and prototyping.
- Skills in typography, color theory, layout design, and branding to create cohesive and attractive designs.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress or Joomla for designing and managing website content.
- Typically, 2-5 years of experience in web design, with a portfolio showcasing a variety of web design projects.
