UX/UI Lead
Position Overview
Leading the design efforts for the organization's digital products, ensuring that they are user-friendly, visually appealing, and aligned with our brand identity. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create intuitive interfaces and enhance the overall user experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead the UX/UI design process from concept to execution, ensuring a user-centered approach throughout.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define design requirements and project goals.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, InVision, or similar software.
- Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across all digital products.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs based on user insights.
- Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a collaborative and creative team environment.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX/UI design.
- Present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders, articulating design rationale and user benefits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in User Experience Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant degrees provide a solid foundation in design principles and user-centered approaches.
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Sketch, Figma, InVision, or similar software. Experience with design systems and style guides is also important.
- Several years of experience in UX/UI design, including a significant portion in a leadership or senior role.
- Strong portfolio showcasing your design work and process, demonstrating your ability to create user-centered designs.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
