Technical Project Manager
Position Overview
Bringing technical expertise and project management skills to oversee complex technology projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end project lifecycles for technical projects, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables that align with business objectives and technical requirements.
- Utilize project management methodologies and tools effectively, ensuring consistent communication and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
- Apply a deep understanding of the specific technology stack, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and system architecture to guide project execution and resolve technical challenges.
- Maintain clear and open lines of communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues.
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations to gather requirements and promote alignment among team members and stakeholders.
- Oversee project budgets and resource allocation, ensuring effective use of resources and adherence to project timelines.
Qualifications
- A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is essential. Additional education in Project Management or Business Administration can be beneficial.
- Deep understanding of the specific technology stack, software development lifecycle (SDLC), system architecture, or the relevant technical domain the projects are based on.
- Proficiency in using project management software and tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, Trello, or Asana.
- Typically, 3-7 years of experience in technical project management or related roles, with a proven track record of leading successful projects.
