Security Engineer for Digital Systems
Position Overview
Ensuring the security of the organization digital systems by implementing robust security measures and responding effectively to security incidents. Your expertise in securing hardware, firmware, and software will be vital in protecting the organization from emerging threats.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain security measures for digital systems, including hardware, firmware, and software, ensuring adherence to secure design principles and architectures.
- Detect, respond to, and mitigate security incidents affecting digital systems, employing best practices for incident response and recovery.
- Conduct security assessments and vulnerability analyses on digital systems to identify potential risks and recommend appropriate remediation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle of digital products and applications.
- Stay informed about the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and trends to proactively enhance security measures and systems.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to security policies, procedures, and incident responses.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced studies or specializations in security can be beneficial.
- Expertise in securing digital systems, encompassing hardware, firmware, and software. Knowledge of secure design principles and architectures is essential.
- Skills in detecting, responding to, and mitigating security incidents that affect digital systems.
- Typically, 3-7 years of experience in security engineering roles, with hands-on experience securing digital systems and applications.
