Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain security measures for digital systems, including hardware, firmware, and software, ensuring adherence to secure design principles and architectures.
  • Detect, respond to, and mitigate security incidents affecting digital systems, employing best practices for incident response and recovery.
  • Conduct security assessments and vulnerability analyses on digital systems to identify potential risks and recommend appropriate remediation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle of digital products and applications.
  • Stay informed about the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and trends to proactively enhance security measures and systems.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to security policies, procedures, and incident responses.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced studies or specializations in security can be beneficial.
  • Expertise in securing digital systems, encompassing hardware, firmware, and software. Knowledge of secure design principles and architectures is essential.
  • Skills in detecting, responding to, and mitigating security incidents that affect digital systems.
  • Typically, 3-7 years of experience in security engineering roles, with hands-on experience securing digital systems and applications.
