Product Owner
Position Overview
Guiding the development team by translating business needs into clear product features. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure that the product remains aligned with customer expectations and business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for the product backlog, managing, prioritizing features and tasks to optimize development workflow.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision, goals, and requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
- Ensure the development team understands the priorities and requirements by clearly articulating features and providing ongoing feedback during the Agile ceremonies.
- Facilitate Agile processes, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, to ensure a continuous improvement culture.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the market and competitors to inform product strategy and enhance the product offering.
- Analyze and collect feedback from users to guide the development of new features and improvements in the product.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product releases and implementations.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is typically required.
- Deep understanding of Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban). Experience working as a Product Owner in an Agile environment is often essential.
- Proficiency in managing the product backlog, prioritizing features and tasks, and ensuring the team understands what is needed.
- Typically, 3-5 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or a similar role, with at least1-3 years specifically as a Product Owner.
