Product Engineer
Position Overview
Designing, developing, and optimizing products throughout their entire lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the products adhere to quality standards, fulfill performance requirements, and meet customer expectations.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop new products, ensuring they meet specifications and performance criteria.
- Utilize engineering software and tools relevant to the field, such as CAD software, simulation tools, or other specialized engineering applications, to create and analyze product designs.
- Collaborate with product managers, manufacturing teams, and other stakeholders to define product requirements and specifications.
- Plan, execute, and oversee engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Conduct testing and validation of products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Analyze data and feedback to identify areas for product improvement and optimization.
- Document design processes, test results, and project outcomes to support product development and compliance.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Chemical), or a related field. This provides a solid foundation in engineering principles and project management.
- Proficiency with engineering software and tools relevant to the field, such as CAD software, simulation tools, or other specialized engineering applications.
- Several years of experience in project engineering or management. Experience should include planning, executing, and overseeing engineering projects from initiation to completion.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
