Position Overview

Identifying vulnerabilities and weaknesses in the organization’s systems, networks, and applications through comprehensive security assessments. Your expertise in penetration testing methodologies and tools will be essential in helping strengthen the security posture.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough penetration tests on various systems, networks, and applications to identify security vulnerabilities and assess the effectiveness of existing security measures.
  • Utilize a variety of penetration testing tools, including Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, Nessus, and Wireshark, to perform security assessments and analyze results.
  • Develop and execute custom exploits and scripts to demonstrate the impact of identified vulnerabilities and provide actionable recommendations for remediation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate findings and assist in the development of strategies to mitigate identified risks.
  • Stay current with the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and penetration testing techniques to continuously enhance skills and methodologies.
  • Prepare detailed reports documenting findings, methodologies, and recommendations for improving security practices.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant coursework or projects related to security assessments can be beneficial.
  • Proficiency with penetration testing tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, Nessus, and Wireshark.
  • Understanding of exploit development, vulnerability research, and the ability to create custom exploits.
  • Typically, 2-5 years of experience in penetration testing or related security roles, with hands-on experience performing security assessments and vulnerability assessments.
