Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled Juice, Mocktail & Light Dessert Specialist to lead the preparation of cold beverages and modern desserts in our vibrant kitchen. From fresh-squeezed juices to creative, alcohol-free cocktails and light sweets, you'll help shape the refreshing side of our menu.
This role is ideal for someone with both technical ability and artistic flair—someone who values hygiene, speed, and presentation, and who thrives in a team-oriented kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of fresh, natural juices (e.g., orange, carrot, pomegranate, mango)
- Craft innovative, alcohol-free cocktails (e.g., virgin mojitos, fruit shakes)
- Create and present light, modern desserts (e.g., tiramisu, crème caramel, chilled cakes, fruit-based sweets)
- Organize and maintain the cold buffet area in a clean, attractive way
- Ensure all juice and dessert tools/equipment are cleaned and maintained daily
- Support seasonal updates to the dessert and cold beverage menu
- Coordinate daily with the head chef and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in preparing juices, mocktails, and desserts in restaurants or cafés
- Ability to follow detailed recipes while contributing personal creativity
- Vocational certificate or verified experience in culinary, dessert, or juice preparation (domestic or international)
- Strong commitment to hygiene and food safety standards
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work efficiently under pressure
- Fluency in Arabic and German (required); English is a plus
