IT Support Administrator
Position Overview
Possessing a strong background in information technology and demonstrate proficiency in managing and supporting various IT systems. This role is important in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and providing exceptional support to our users.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), servers, and network infrastructure.
- Manage and maintain IT systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Assist in the configuration and management of network components, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues related to TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
- Collaborate with team members to implement IT projects and upgrades.
- Document technical procedures and user guides to enhance support efficiency.
- Provide user support and training to ensure effective use of IT resources.
Qualifications
- A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred. Alternatively, vocational training in IT, such as Fachinformatiker (IT Specialist) or IT-Systemelektroniker, is highly relevant.
- Proficiency in managing and supporting various IT systems, including operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), servers, and network infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and network troubleshooting.
- Typically, 2-5 years of experience in IT support or system administration roles, including hands-on experience with troubleshooting, system maintenance, and user support.
