Position Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Hot & Cold Kitchen Chef to take full ownership of our Eastern and Western cuisine operations. You will lead the preparation of hot dishes (e.g., grills, tajines, pastas) and cold dishes (e.g., salads, sides), develop menu concepts, and train kitchen staff to ensure consistent quality and efficiency. This role requires a highly skilled culinary professional who is equally confident executing detailed recipes and leading a team.

Responsibilities
- Lead preparation of Eastern dishes (e.g., kebabs, grills, rice dishes, stews) and Western dishes (e.g., pasta, steaks, gratin, international salads)
- Oversee both hot and cold food stations and daily table orders
- Collaborate with operations manager to design and update the menu
- Prepare daily mise en place and maintain smooth kitchen flow
- Ensure top-tier hygiene and safety standards are upheld (HACCP)
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in technical and professional standards
- Work closely with the operations lead (Mr. Ali) to meet recipe and quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in professional kitchens (restaurants, hotels, or high-end cafés)
- Proven ability to execute a diverse range of Eastern and Western recipes with precision
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high presentation standards
- Culinary or hospitality degree, or a recognized certificate of experience
- Strong leadership, organization, and team communication skills
- Fluency in Arabic and German (required); English is a plus
