Position Overview
The Executive Vice President (EVP) is the right hand of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and is empowered to act on behalf of the CEO in their absence. This role carries full delegated authority to manage daily operations, represent the company before governmental and regulatory bodies, and sign official documents. As the company operates in a dynamic start‑up environment, the EVP must oversee and coordinate all business processes across departments, ensure continuity in leadership by filling in for department managers when needed, provide comprehensive reports and analyses to the CEO, and play a key role in developing strategic partnerships that drive growth.

Responsibilities
- CEO Delegation: Act on behalf of the CEO, making strategic and operational decisions and ensuring directives are executed across all departments.
- Official Representation: Represent the company before government bodies, trustees, and partners; sign contracts and official documents within delegated authority.
- Operational Oversight: Coordinate and monitor business processes across divisions, stepping in for department managers when needed to maintain continuity.
- Strategic Reporting: Prepare detailed reports, analyses, and performance metrics to support CEO decision‑making and identify growth opportunities.
- Process & Policy Development: Collaborate with leaders to refine processes, implement best practices, and ensure scalability in a fast‑growing start‑up.
- Partnerships & Business Development: Build and negotiate strategic alliances with businesses, institutions, and technology providers; represent the company at industry events.
- international Expansion: Work with the CEO to plan entry into new markets, conduct feasibility studies, manage risks, and lead global growth initiatives.
Must Have
- Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field preferred; a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a relevant discipline is required.
- 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience in executive or operational roles, ideally within start‑ups or the technology/industrial sector.
- Proven experience in business operations management and strategic partnership development.
- Deep understanding of corporate governance, regulatory requirements and industry dynamics.
- Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to motivate and coordinate cross‑functional teams.
- Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities; adept at using data to drive decisions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and networking skills; fluency in English (German is a plus).
- Decisive and confident leader who can take initiative and assume responsibility.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to represent the company credibly to stakeholders.
- Experience using CRM/ERP systems such as Odoo.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of GDPR and data protection best practices.
- Multilingual skills (B2/C1 English and B1/B2 German required; Arabic or French is a plus).
- Familiarity with European relocation services, visa procedures, or expat communities.
