We’re seeking an ERP/IT Support Specialist to provide daily technical and operational support to Odoo ERP system users and the IT environment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure business continuity.
Position Overview
The ERP/IT Support Specialist provides daily technical and operational support to Odoo ERP system users and the IT environment. This role troubleshoots issues, manages configurations, and ensures business continuity by maintaining system stability, supporting integrations, and training users. The specialist plays a key role in optimizing ERP performance, safeguarding data, and enabling efficient workflows across the organization.

Responsibilities
- Receive fault reports from internal clients and determine whether they are due to misuse or a technical problem; implement quick solutions or escalate complex issues to the Digitalization Manager.
- Provide first- and second-level technical support (by phone, email, or in person) and manage hardware, software, and network configurations.
- Manage account setup and login permissions (onboarding/offboarding), email and tablet setup, and system setup for new employees.
- Conduct system configuration tests, prepare fault and solution documentation, and apply security updates and perform periodic backups.
- Configure and customize Odoo modules according to user requirements, participate in system integration with other systems, and conduct functional acceptance tests.
- Develop training materials and train users on the system; provide post-launch support, troubleshoot errors, and optimize performance.
- Monitoring key performance indicators (such as the percentage of reports resolved from the first call, ticket resolution time, system readiness percentage) and preparing reports for management.
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- 2+ years of experience providing technical support for Odoo ERP systems and IT environments.
- Knowledge of Odoo ERP configuration, user management, and functional testing.
- Strong understanding of system integration, network, and hardware/software troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills to support end users effectively.
- Ability to manage multiple support requests simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and system reliability.
- Capability to document processes, issues, and solutions clearly.
- Good training and presentation skills for end-user support.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and system updates.
- Experience with cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and API integration.
- Experience in multinational or technology-driven organizations.
- Familiarity with web development tools (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python)
Preferred Skills
- Master’s degree in Information Systems, Business Informatics, or Digital Transformation Management
- Certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, Odoo Functional Consultant)
- Familiarity with data protection regulations (GDPR) and IT security practices.
- Multilingual capabilities (A1 in German & B2 in English required; other languages advantageous)
