Position Overview
The Development Specialist is responsible for designing, managing, and implementing employee development programs to ensure continuous skill enhancement, improved performance, and a strong organizational culture. This role focuses on employee training, competency development, workplace communication improvement, employee engagement, and establishing systems that foster loyalty, motivation, and high productivity across the company.

Responsibilities
- Client Engagement: Lead the development of client success stories and case studies, ensuring messaging aligns with our brand and strategy.
- Employee Development & Training: Design and implement training programs to enhance technical and soft skills; assess training needs; coordinate workshops and onboarding programs; monitor progress and evaluate effectiveness.
- Performance Improvement: Support employees with tailored development plans; create tools to evaluate competencies; analyze performance data with managers; track metrics and recommend improvements.
- Workplace Culture & Engagement: Build programs to boost engagement and motivation; implement recognition and retention strategies; improve workplace communication; organize team‑building activities.
- Organizational Development: Assist in designing systems and policies for continuous development; ensure consistency and quality in processes; strengthen company culture; recommend structural adjustments to support talent growth.
- Evaluation & Reporting: Collect and analyze data on training participation and outcomes; prepare reports on KPIs and program effectiveness; maintain accurate documentation and progress records.
- Performance Evaluation & Compliance Monitoring: Develop evaluation programs to monitor performance and compliance; assess employee proficiency with internal systems; identify gaps and design targeted training; oversee onboarding and offboarding processes; establish knowledge retention systems.
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in employee development, training, or organizational development.
- Strong understanding of training methodologies, performance improvement tools, and employee engagement strategies.
- Experience with HR development frameworks, competency models, and evaluation tools.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze performance data and generate actionable insights.
Preferred Skills
- Multilingual capabilities (German /A2-B1/- and English /B1- B2/ required; additional languages an advantage).
- Knowledge of GDPR and data protection best practices.
