Business Analytics Consultant
Position Overview
Analyzing business data and providing insights that support the organization's clients' strategic objectives. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their analytics needs and develop solutions that drive data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and understand their business objectives related to analytics and data analysis.
- Utilize statistical software to analyze business data and trends, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Develop and implement analytics solutions using BI tools and platforms, such as SAP BusinessObjects or IBM Cognos, to gather and analyze business performance data.
- Conduct data modeling and visualization to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to clients.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in business analytics and data analysis.
- Provide training and support to clients on analytics tools and methodologies, ensuring they can effectively utilize the insights generated.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. An MBA with a focus on analytics or data-driven decision-making can be advantageous.
- Strong foundation in statistics and experience with statistical software for analyzing business data and trends.
- Experience with BI tools and platforms, such as SAP BusinessObjects or IBM Cognos, to gather and analyze business performance data.
- Several years of experience in business analytics, data analysis, or consulting, demonstrating a track record of successful projects.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
